Been busy making away recently.
I have sewing a patchwork quilt with images of my childhood and a map if Margate plotting my jouney from the train station to home. I imagine text will be involved somehow to explain what each picture means to me.
Sewing machine broke and my new one arrived yesterday. It is called. Sew Baby.
Went to the Quilts exhibition.
I have also been playing with plaster and injection moulding. In the last week I have had some fantastic results with food dye, pictures next week.
I am going to go to the Enchanted Palace this weekend.

Slash: Paper Under the Knife @ Museum of Art & Design
I went to New York over Easter and saw a fantastic show at the Museum of Art and Design. (Along with all of the sights) Lots of innovative uses of paper, cutting and shadows that were really impressive. The exhibition has been so popular that the catalogue has sold out and I'm struggling to find one on the internet! Here are some images I have been able to find on the internet...

Tim Burton @ Museum Of Modern Art
Also visited Tim Burton at MOMA, it was the busiest exhibition I have ever been to. It was packed. So many drawings to look at and a really strange entrance with striped walls, blue lighting and music. Also had costumes and figures from past films.
